So what if you need to find a homecoming dress but you’re not in the mood for “sexy?” This is fine! While some stores seem to be heavily biased towards carrying sexy designs, we understand that sometimes women feel more comfortable with a cute, flirty, fifties or sixties-inspired look rather than with a sexy little number that clings everywhere.

When it comes to homecoming especially, we think that going for “cute” is very appropriate. Here are a few homecoming dresses we adore!

1. Pink Yellow Homecoming Dress. How adorable is that? It’s truly one of our favorite homecoming dresses, and for a good reason. It’s cute without being childish, sexy in an innocent, fifties-inspired way, and would look so adorable worn with kitten heels, or even with ballet flats if you have great legs and can pull it off! The warm yellow color is stunning and would looks amazing on you if you have a warm skin tone. If you have a cool skin tone, try the same dress in purple and pink.

2. White Fuchsia Strapless Cocktail Dress. This sweet dress is the perfect choice if you have a dark, or a tanned skin. We love the sweetheart neckline and adore the satin waist band. The full and flirty skirt features soft tulle layers – it’s such an adorable party look and you’ll have so much fun wearing it! Silver toned jewelry would work best with this homecoming dress.

3. Purple Sequin Top Cocktail Dress. Lovely! We admit it: we have a soft spot for this dress becuase we love the color. Purple is such a pretty color! We love the sparkly bodice, the full skirt and the fact that this dress is so unapologetically feminine. Can’t you just see yourself dancing the night away in this gorgeous dress?
